Too many damn computers
I woke up this morning and for some reason, the realization that I'm swimming in computers here at the house hit me. HOW MANY COMPUTERS DOES ONE PERSON NEED? It really is too bad there aren't any e-recycling programs 'round here that I know of. Some of this stuff could be recycled or given away or something.
As of right now, I have here:
Laptops:
- an IBM Thinkpad T30
- an Apple Powerbook G4/800
- an Apple iBook G4/700
Desktops:
- an Apple PowerMac G4/400
- an AMD K6-2-based PC (file/print/mp3) server
- an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ -based computer I use for games
- a Motorola StarMax 5000 Mac clone based on the 603e+ chip
- an Apple iMac G3 (Blueberry)
Plus the various networking hardware (wired, wireless, etc).
It's kind of bizzarre... as I've become LESS technical over time, the actual number of computers I'm using goes UP. Paradoxical.
Does anyone want to purchase a 600 dpi laser printer I'm not currently using? Works great.
